ArginMax is natural male enhancement supplement that can help boost male sexual fitness. If you have taken or read about male enhancement supplements before, then you’d probably figured out that L-arginine is the main ingredient of this male enhancement pill. Its manufacturer, the Daily Wellness Company, was established in 1996 and has partnerships with Stanford University School of Medicine, Veterans Administration Medical Center, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, and University of Hawaii School of Medicine.
Ingredients and claims:
L-arginine is the amino acid precursor of nitric oxide, which is known as the erection compound. Precursor means that your body needs L-arginine in order to produce nitric oxide. The Daily Wellness Company formulated ArginMax based on the observation that some botanical extracts may help facilitate the conversion of L-arginine into nitric oxide. The ingredients of ArginMax, which were selected based on this observation, include Ginkgo Biloba, American Ginseng, Korean Ginseng, Vitamin A, Vitamin B6, Niacin, Folate, Vitamin B12, Biotin, Panthotenic Acid, Riboflavin, Thiamine, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, and Zinc.
According to the Daily Wellness Company, ArginMax works by providing your body with L-arginine and the two Ginseng extracts (American and Korean), which help enhance the conversion of L-arginine into Nitric Oxide. Ginkgo Biloba helps promote overall circulation while the B vitamins, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium, and Zinc support overall health and reproductive wellness.
L-arginine, Ginkgo Biloba, Ginseng, and Zinc are common ingredients found in male enhancement supplements. B Vitamins, which are known energy boosters, also have sex-enhancing properties. Thiamine helps boost nerve transmission and energy production, which are important in arousal. Niacin is involved in the production of sex hormones, helps relax blood vessels, and stimulates the release of histamine, which is normally produced during sexual excitation. Biotin supports the male sex glands.
While these ingredients can all help contribute in male enhancement, ArginMax still lacks other potent aphrodisiacs like Epimedium or Horny Goat Weed, which can help increase blood circulation to your penis; and Tribulus Terrestris, which helps boost testosterone production.
Positives:
- Does not make misleading claims
- Backed by a “physician-directed pilot study” that involved a regimen of ArginMax for four weeks wherein: 89 percent of subjects supposedly experienced improvement in their ability to maintain an erection during intercourse; 75 percent experienced an improvement in satisfaction with their overall sex life
- Available at GNC
Negatives:
- You need to take six capsules daily
- The “physician-directed pilot study” is not available in the website
- Lacks key ingredients
The Bottom Line:
ArginMax builds its male enhancement formula around L-arginine, which is important because it’s a precursor to nitric oxide. The Daily Wellness Company does not make misleading claims and backs up its products, particularly ArginMax for Women, with research. Reformulating ArginMax might increase its potency. Otherwise, it will remain as it is now – a cross between a sports performance enhancer and a male enhancement supplement.
