Even if it’s your first time to read about Enlast, you’d probably figured out that it’s a male enhancement product that will help you last longer in bed. “Desensitizing cream for premature ejaculation” – that’s what it says on the label. There is little information provided in the Enlast website, other than its claims and that it uses “(Food and Drug Administration) FDA-approved ingredients.” So our male enhancement experts here at MensEnhancementFacts.com did their own research and here’s what they found out:
Ingredients and claims:
Premature ejaculation is defined as an uncontrolled ejaculation that occurs either before or after penetration, providing minimal sexual satisfaction to both the man and the woman. The existing male enhancement product reviews on Enlast are confusing to customers because the product comes in cream form and in lubricant form. The Enlast cream was formulated to reduce oversensitivity, slow down the onset of ejaculation, and prolong sexual intercourse. Its ingredients include Muira Puama, Huanarpo Macho, L-arginine, and Benzocaine.
The bark and root of the aphrodisiac herb Muira Puama (also known as Potency Wood), has long been used in South America to address sexual dysfunction. Another aphrodisiac herb used in South America is Huanarpo Macho. It contains proanthocyanidins, antioxidant compounds that can help improve cardiovascular function, restore sexual potency, and address erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation.
L-arginine, an amino acid that is best known for being the precursor of the erection compound nitric oxide, is believed to help fight premature ejaculation while it improves erectile function.
Benzocaine is a local anesthetic used to reduce discomfort and pain caused by teething and other conditions. It is also used in condoms as a desensitizer. However, Benzocaine’s safety has been questioned by the FDA, as it has received reports of methemoglobinemia associated with the use of the anesthetic. Methemoglobinemia is a rare but serious condition wherein the amount of oxygen carried through the bloodstream is dangerously reduced.
Positives:
- Easy to use
- Safe to use with latex condoms
Negatives:
- Little information on the website (no information about ingredients and mechanism of action)
- Having two Enlast products — a lubricant and cream — is confusing for consumers
- Uses Benzocaine, which is an unsafe compound
- No testimonials
The Bottom Line:
Enlast is just another desensitizing and delaying male enhancement product that doesn’t make a lasting impression. It’s difficult to trust a product that offers little information on its website, particularly if it has no ingredients and testimonial pages. The manufacturer claims to be a member of the Natural Products Association yet uses Benzocaine, an unsafe substance which by no means is natural.
